Diagnostic Radiology Residency

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about our Diagnostic Radiology Residency training program and the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University. We pride ourselves in having world-renowned clinical and research faculty in every radiology subspecialty. At the same time, we have built all of this through a collegial and collaborative environment. Our faculty are here at Emory because they are dedicated to teaching our residents and involving them in cutting-edge research.

Our Emory Diagnostic Radiology Residents come from all over the world and have diverse backgrounds, but what they all share in common is their desire to learn and their positive attitudes. This is the essence of the team setting at Emory, and it creates a synergistic relationship that is conducive to an amazing learning environment.

The opportunities for our Radiology Residents are seemingly limitless here at Emory and include mentorship, teaching, research, volunteerism, and public service on the local, regional and national levels. Our goal is to not only train our Residents to be able to differentiate types of interstitial lung disease or brain neoplasms, but also to mold them into well-rounded future radiologists who will be leaders in their own right.

This is only a snapshot of what makes the Residency Program at Emory thrive and exceptional. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you in person so we can discuss more in depth.

Sincerely,

Christopher P. Ho, MD
Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program Director
