Dr. Bercu is an interventional radiologist whose activities have focused on transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, percutaneous mesocaval shunts, locoregional therapies including Yttrium-90 radioembolization and chemoembolization, microwave ablation, transradial interventions, submassive pulmonary embolism, embolization guidance technology, peripheral arterial disease, and endovascular simulation. He has developed gesture-based image review solutions in the angiosuite and previously received a grant for mobile radiology education. He is involved in fostering innovation for clinical and educational efficacy and has presented internationally.
