Following extensive training in electrical engineering and computer science, Dr. Tridandapani started as a tenure-track faculty member in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University. He then took the bold plunge into medical training and currently serves as an academic radiologist at Emory University and as an adjunct professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.

Dr. Tridandapani serves patients through both the abdominal and cardiothoracic imaging sections. He conducts cutting edge research at the interface of engineering and medicine. Specifically, he is developing novel mechanical gating techniques for cardiac computed tomography and imaging informatics tools to improve quality and safety in the delivery of radiologic care.
