Neil Amin, MD
Assistant Professor, Community
Dr. Neil Amin is a cardiothoracic trained radiologist. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Society of Thoracic Radiologists, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He has a special interest in vascular imaging and complications associated with devices, lines, and catheters. Dr. Amin has presented on the topic at several national meetings.
Juan Camacho, MD
Instructor, Interventional Radiology
Dr. Juan Camacho specializes in interventional radiology with significant expertise in abdominal imaging and body MRI, allowing him to have a more comprehensive approach to image-guided therapies. His research primarily focuses on evaluation of imaging biomarkers to quantify response to locoregional therapies and prediction of overall therapeutic outcomes. Dr. Camacho currently serves in RSNA´s vascular and interventional radiology committee and has authored papers in the field of interventional oncology with the aid of institutional funding.
Daniel Krieger, MD
Instructor, Neuroradiology
Dr. Daniel Krieger is a neuroradiologist focusing on imaging of the head and neck. His areas of clinical and research interest include staging of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, as well as traumatic brain injury.
Robert Ermentrout, MD
Assistant Professor, Interventional Radiology
Dr. Robert Ermentrout is a fellowship-trained interventional radiologist with a clinical practice encompassing the full spectrum of minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures. Dr. Ermentrout’s interests include interventional oncology, hepatobiliary and portal venous interventions.
Howard Fleishon, MD
Director, Community
Dr. Howard Fleishon was in private practice before coming to Emory. In addition to clinical work, he has focused on leadership and management. Dr. Fleishon was President of his group and subsequently Radiology Medical Director at John C. Lincoln Medical Center. After serving at the state level, he went on to hold numerous roles in the American College of Radiology. He was recently elected the ACR’s Treasurer. Dr. Fleishon interests include: Radiology business practices, advocacy, and the impact of legislative and regulatory policies.
Valeria Moncayo , MD
Assistant Professor, Nuclear Medicine
Dr. Valeria Moncayo maintains active interests in resident and fellow education as well as optimizing care delivery. She has established quality improvement projects in several areas of the department, including those involving radioiodine therapies and radiation safety precautions. She has co-authored guidelines and publications in lymphoscintigraphy for breast cancer and melanoma. Dr. Moncayo also specializes in molecular neuroimaging and participates in the weekly Multidisciplinary Epilepsy Surgery Conference.
