Special Message from the Chair
Aug. 4, 2014
As many of you are aware, Emory University Hospital is caring for two health care workers who contracted the Ebola virus while volunteering their services in Liberia. There is no place in the world better equipped to care for these patients. While Ebola is not easily spread from person to person, a special isolation unit, highly experienced infectious disease team, and close coordination with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will ensure the protection of our employees and the Atlanta public.
Best always,
Carolyn C. Meltzer, MD, FACR
Chair of Radiology and Imaging Sciences
