Medical Imaging's Class of 2019 Graduates with Top Honors

The Medical Imaging Program at Emory University offers a bachelor of medical science degree graduates can use to help them advance within the medical imaging profession at a faster pace. Through this rigorous program, students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for professional competence in radiology technology with opportunities to specialize in certain modalities, in administration, or in education.

On May 13, the Medical Imaging Program honored their 13 graduates during this year’s commencement exercises. Celebrations began at the Woodruff Library with a breakfast for the program graduates and their families after the university’s commencement ceremony, with the program diploma ceremony taking place shortly after.

The 2019 BMSc class average GPA was a 3.72, while the RT-BMSc class average GPA was 3.67 with an overall GPA of 3.7. Yesica Abercrombie and William Shane Arrington graduated with Highest Honors having earned a GPA of 3.9 or higher. Eight students graduated with Honors having earned a GPA of 3.5 to 3.899.
